Officially, St. Patrick's Day may be next Tuesday, March 17th, but we all know that the city of Denver will be taking advantage of this weekend's festivities to celebrate and let off some steam with lots of green beer and Irish bag pipe performances.
Here's a list of some of the top events going on in and around Denver:
1. Fado Irish Pub: 1735 19th St, Denver
Saturday-Tuesday: 17th Annual St. Patrick's Day Celebration. The same as previous years with various live bands, and performances by bag pipers and dancers. Several beverage and Irish food stations to choose from all day long.
2. ViewHouse Eatery: 2015 Market St, Denver
Specials all day long Friday - Tuesday, Green Beer Pints for $4.75, Guinness for $5, Irish Car Bombs for $8, Jameson Shots for $4.
Saturday (9am): St. Patrick's Parade After Party featuring a tattoo contest, face painting, Michael Collins bag pipes and drums
Sunday (3pm): Irish drinking games and shamrock shenanigans
Tuesday (3pm): Live bands, giveaways, and performances with bagpipes and dancers
3. Baker's Street Pub & Grill: 7260 W Alaska Dr, Lakewood
Tuesday (8pm): St. Patrick's Day Party with green beer, Irish food and live music from Urban Dance Theory.
4. Cherry Cricket: 2641 E 2nd Ave, Denver
Saturday (1pm): Live bands all afternoon and through the evening.
Tuesday (4pm): Live performances and, bag pipes and dancers

Saturday (12pm): Official St. Patrick's Bar Crawl
6. The Irish Snug: 1201 E Colfax Ave, Denver
Saturday-Tuesday: Irish bands, Irish stepdancers and pipe bands.
7. Irish Rover: 54 S Broadway, Denver
Saturday & Tuesday (11am): St. Patrick's Day Celebration with traditional Irish food, bag pipers and stepdancers.
